Project Title (and general subject): Great Opera Houses of the World
At the moment, I plan on writing nine linked entries, with two general entries and seven on individual opera houses.
Specific areas and entry titles:
Great Opera Houses of the World (overview)
A Traditional Opera House
The Paris Opera
La Scala, Milan
The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden
The Metropolitan Opera, New York
The Viennese State Opera
Wagner's Opera House - Bayreuth, Bavaria
The Sydney Opera House
Proposed Start Date: 25th June 2001
Proposed Finish Date: 6th August 2001
I'm not sure which department would be the most appropriate for this project. I have listed it under Arts - Music, but it might also fit under Geography. The ideal Department would probably be Arts - Performing Arts, but there doesn't seem to be one at present.
