h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Just been on a flight on the Kitkat balloon. Thought it was going to be a wonderful experience. It was ruined by the attitude and rudeness of the pilot. A balloon trip is supposed to be memorable and enjoyable, it is usually bought for a special occasion. After 13 cancelled trips we were beginning to think we would never get in the air. All the passengers were excitable and we were keen to help inflate the balloon but the pilot dampened our spirits. He shouted at us if we moved a muscle in the wrong direction and talked to us as if we were idiots. The experience of being up in the air was wonderful, we glided along and it was so calm and peaceful. We had a bit of a bumpy landing but did manage to stay upright. Again the pilot started shouting orders, he was very rude to some of the passengers, we did our best to help. He did spoil what should have been a memorable experience. I'm affraid I wouldn't recommend flying on the Kitkat balloon, try Virgin!
