Great performance poetry, if the rhythmic syllables are stressed

It is a bit Milliganesque, isn't it?
No-one writes them like Spike did though - I love reading his poems to my kids.

This is fun .
The first stanza isn't nonsense at all, but evokes memories of a number of holidays! 
Like camping holidays in France when I was a girl, when the worst smell wasn't the cooking 
.
And driving round Ireland in the rain, with a casette of 'The sun has got his hat on' warbling away.
