That's good to know. I sort of stuck in a rut at the moment. I've started a novel and it seems that there is so much to think of. How does a poor 9 to 5'er like me get an agent for example. I've read so much information about being a writer, how to write a synopsis, correct spacing in your manuscript, etc. But it doesn't seem that one get's that "foot in the door" without an agent. Should I send a synopsis of my work to a literary agent??????????????smiley - wah

The simple answer, I imagine, is yes. Treat the agent no less than you would a publisher. If unsuccessful always remember that JK Rowling was rejected by 9 agents before being taken seriously.

Good luck.
