I figured. The state went into overdrive yesterday, and today the whole palce is shut down.
Where we are, the inch of snow got washed away when it turned to rain. It was really slushy...
Thank goodness the rain washed off all that salt. You would not believe how much salt was on the road.

that must be why none of our roads have salt ... u guy7s used it all up :'( we only get some gravel on the main roads

I think that's true. I was glad it rained so much last night. It cleaned all that salt off my car.
They used way too much.

The sun is shining here today. We may be alone in this - it seems to be snowing everywhere else.
The Brits have snow, the Germans are practically blizzarded in...How's it going where you are?

like jumping off a cliff only you're attatched to a board and it lasts longer ... usually lol depends on the hill ... and your balance. by the way I do know what jumping off a cliff is like. yes there was water at the bottom I guess cliff jumping is a bit more scary and the speed you reach with cliff jumping feels exponentially higher but the rush is similar.
gonna take classes this winter. oh and we are now getting snow again so share the salt.

I'll see if they'll send you some ofo that salt, keep it off my car.
That sounds . I couldn't do it, I can't even ride a bicycle, balance problems.
But I jumped off a 10-meter diving platform once. That was a cool sensation. I like heights.

Good for you. (We've just all had a discussion on another thread about people who cannot ride bicycles. This includes me and Paul H.)

when you live in a small town like this and don't have a driver's license then a bike is super handy. then I just got used to balancing again(after not riding bikes for several years) and got solid innertubes so I could ride in the winter. although I did fall while turning a bit to sharp on an ice slick once ... wasn't going more then double walking pace anyways though.

not the tire persay. the inner tube inside. usually they are thin rubber ttubes filled with air but solids are ... just as the name suggests. the thin rubber gets brittle and rips inthe winter, is ansl gets messed up from the air inside shrinking and growing since it's uber cold at night and almost back up to normal freezing in the day

Yes, the way you have to adjust your tire pressure in the winter. Makes sense.
We don't get very cold weather around here. We've been complaining just because it got down in the 20s. It should be in the 40s today, and it's raining, so we're happy.
Merry Christmas to you!
