A Conversation for The H2G2 Programmers' Corner

Code Maintainability

Well... there's A543070 'Seven Secrets of Successful Programmers' but that entry lacks a definition of 'successful'.

It appears that these days 'successful' is the property of 'still being non-outsourced', a property that is greatly enhanced by producing NON-maintainable code.

That is, if you follow the thoughts
of Roedy Green here: http://www.strauss.za.com/sla/code_std.html

Mind you, such cheating techniques are almost impossible in the one and only true programming language, Assembly! smiley - winkeye

smiley - cheers
