Is it possibly a University Project?
Just a thought, somebody suggested all the guff I wrote would have worked as one, but sinced I'd already mostly finished it and one bit was already recommended, it didn't fit the requirements. But this sounds like exactly the sort of thing they're looking for. Of course, it gets you on the front page for a WEEK too!
