hi viv sorry to be a pain but can you give a bit of help I still havent got the hang of how I repy to someones reply...or how leave a message to a person. somtimes things go ok other times god knows ( maybe not even him/her) knows! any advice very much appreciated. thanks jo.

I can do my best
To answer you I have just clicked the reply....
Now I also have a prob following the conversations too....
All I go by is........ posting means I have posted it....
and then when I see last reply I click to see.....
Also I have on my space under the Intro.. click here to see all conversations....that one seems to lead me to where I want to be Post a help on your page and someone will send you a link of " how to etc.."

Me again I have posted an SOS on MY space .... I did that by going to "see more conversations " and using the New conversation link on there !
Now lets see what happens ........

Unfortunately posting a help request on your own space is wrong, because no-one will read it.
When you joined h2g2, you should have been greeted by an ACE {in your message centre}, this person will help you with any any questions.
All you have to do is click reply and ask your question.
If this person does not reply, they may be offline, or on holiday.
If you click on the ACE-person's name, {like mine} then you will be transported to their personal space.
On there should be a drop-down list of other ACEs, who are there to assist you.
Check the online list and see if you can spot any ACEs online.
Click on their name, and post a message on their space "Help" is a good message
Do this by "click here to discuss this" under their message centre.
They will get back to you, by clicking the reply button, which you will see in your message centre.
Or they will visit your personal space.
Either way, the messages will be recorded in your message centre.
I will check both your message centres for greetings by ACEs.
If you have not already been greeted then I apologize for our tardiness, we have a system in operation so no-one gets missed, but sometimes people do slip through the net.
