Student Exchange

When selecting a company with which to go on exchange...
  • Be choosy - These people will be controlling your life while you are away - make sure they are going to do a good job! All exchange companies offer something different. Some only work from your home country, leaving you virtually stranded on the other side, while others organise monthly meet ups with other exchange students, and have 24-hour phone suport, should you need it. As with anything, find which option works for you.
  • Shop around - Going on exchange is, undeniably, an expensive venture. It is therefore important to milk the system for all it's worth - try for as many scholarships as possible, and see if your school will help you with fundraising.
