Don't call them Huns here please; we don't do bigotry.

not Huns
huns
as in Martin Luther's brethren
hun and tim aren't classified as bigotry
its the talk about actual war, terrorism, blood spilling etc
thats bigotry
I could type up the words of "Arthur Boruc: the Holy Goalie" by way of an example?

Celtic's Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink scored an injury-time header to narrow the gap on Rangers to one point.
Shunsuke Nakamura fired Celtic ahead with a wonderful swerving shot, while Nacho Novo's strike levelled.
Carlos Cuellar was sent off for handling a net-bound Nakamura shot but the injured Allan McGregor was able to save Scott McDonald's spot-kick.
But the Celtic striker struck late on, while David Weir and Gary Caldwell saw red cards after a full-time melee.
A tumultuous evening ended with an ugly scuffle involving several players and Scotland colleagues Weir and Caldwell appeared to exchange blows.
YEAH YEAH: Strip the captain!
my problem is what a display of idiocy Barry Ferguson gave after the final whistle. An idiot who gets paifd thousands to provide a positive example on the pitch gets into a ruck
folk slag off foreigners who dive but for having a short fuse Ferguson should just sit and have a good think bcoz that is one idiot i do NOT want to be associated with.
Even if I am a Celtic supporter he lives in my city. Is my local derby rival and gives the image of a Glasgow idiot that shouldn't be there.
If you can't enjoy a game of foootball go home Barry.
Retire.
Leave.

Oh shut up.
A typical Old Firm game which Celtic deserved to win against ten men. Quite funny that they couldn't score a penalty against a one-legged goalie though

an idiot should not be a captain
captains lead their men from the field at full-time
NOT into the midst of an immature brawl
Butcher, McNeil, McStay, McCoist
None of them would have reacted like that
only that eejit

That'll be the Terry Butcher who ended up in court and with a criminal record after an Old Firm brawl?
What about the saintly Neil Lennon?

He cleaned up his act
and recorded a birthday video for Ferguson to make amends and attempt consolation
he is also a lot bigger n harder than Ferguson
so he can actually have a calming influence with his intimidating presence
i have noticed this with big fellas calmly striding in to break up a spat between some brats
the brats calm down

Maybe it was all Barry's mum's fault:
Scotland's chief medical officer says violent behaviour in young men is closely linked to drinking in pregnancy by their mothers.
Dr Harry Burns told MSPs yesterday he believes foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) is a key element in behaviour once the babies grow up

Barry Ferguson is an idiot in real life (I've met him) and on the pitch, but quite frankly all this Old Firm guff is boring to me This thread was started to celebrate the good bits of Scottish football, not debate the finer points of bigotry

How DARE u deny reality!
The Old Firm is what keep this league on the ascendant. We have THE WIDEST supported team in the world and another from the top 20 in Scotland.
We have European seeding and countless tourism dollars becuase of this rivalry and we're miles ahead of most countries our size on the European level.
If it was up to the BBC Alba crowd, that hate the Old Firm and think Bonnie Scotland's all kilts, thistles and Tam O'Shanters, Scottish football would be as exciting as curling.
(I quite like the Partick Thistle philosophy though.)
Vive la difference!
Bon Ecosse!
Besides, the whole Gretna story proves how foreign investment based on stereotypes ruins our game.

Because Nakamura is playing for Celtic they must be getting a very good payout from NHK cause their games are shown here in Japan twice a week and the scottish /english commentators keep praising him much more than I think he deserves ,that was a nice goal though
Key: Complain about this post
