That sounds remarkably likely (apart from the train being delayed - didn't you know Mr Blair is running the railways now and all allegations of delays are thought crimes?.
I gave up after 
, did a quick tour of the pubs cos I was sure I had picked the wrong one by then, and took off for the SECC to miss the rush.
Ended up walking home, so I guess you folks did the same?

May I just take this opporchancity to thank all and sundry for a VERY enjoyable Sunday pint session. Nice to be able to put faces to names and take part in the humour first hand.

ps Shame you decided to go bowling after Wowbadger and I had to leave, not only because we've both had some experience of playing but also I'm a member of Murrayfield Indoor Sports Club, where not only is the bowling cheaper but the drink is much cheaper too!
