ok, rather odd question....perhaps the right place to ask it....does anyone know if there are any road rallies in your area? You know, the ones you see on tv that have the suped-up ford focuses and other cars running a race over dirt roads and taking hairpin turns at 90?

you know, i really don't know. i've heard that Salt Lake City is the place for that, but i don't honestly know.

Yow, there are no rally's in Salt Lake but we do have a sports cars racing association. Not sure where their track is. We have drag racing and oval tracks as well. In fact I used to do oval track racing.

Bonneville will more than sufice for that area Marv , love that place! See, I've got a Buick Park Avenue, and I've been trying to find a rally track that perhaps I could run my car through........its the only off roading buick *ever*

Bonneville is all flat desert. But you can go as fast as your car will let you there....

now if I can just convince my parents to let me go..........this could take awhile but I just might be able to pull it off...........

Hey Yow, I will try to get hold of the guys that I used to race with and see if they have any info on speed trials out on teh desert. may take a while, but I will see what they have to say.

cool, thanx. I'm gonna try to set up a little auto-cross thing here in DC in a stadium parking lot if I can. It's probably going to be infinatly more difficult than I imagine but it's still worth a shot.
