Hi Doc Saly.
Hmm..interesting that you should conjure the image of an audience hissing and applauding a surgeon at work. May I suggest that those applauding are the medical students, and those hissing (considerably louder) are the anaesthetists. These guys believe that the 'sport of kings' is more fun to watch on the hoof and a surgeon therefore also needs a good aim in order to kebab the moving target. They also get more coffee breaks.
