I moved to California from Sydney a few years ago, and cricket is something that I have really missed (although I have found a local competition that is run by ex-pats from India and Pakistan).
I have tried explaining the game to my wife (American) and she simply has no idea but feigns interest for my sake

well I sure hope you gave my wife a copy of my Explaining Cricket to Americans. My upstairs neighbor and chief source, Steve, gives a little giggle every time he greets me on the path.
But Tony and I did have a great time celebrating the Steelers Super Bowl!
