This is my entry on how to make an ameateur film. I noticed there wasn't one so I thought I'd give it a go.

Good start - cover the initial issues well, but as the discussions mentioned you could go over formats (film/VHSc/8/Hi8/Digitla) just to show there are options...
Spelling:
sujest=suggest
increadable=incredible
You start well, but then it all becomes a little cursory. You say how to PREPARE for making a film, but the film itself is just left to: Go and make a film. Perhaps you could talk about shot setups in dialogue (cross-cutting or two-shots), use of long shots, establishing shots just as a start. Are you going to film in classical Hollywood style, or try something that is more arty and expressive.
Editing too: How will you edit it style-wise? Hollwood, etc. still applies. Will you do a simple beginning/end story or tell flashbacks, etc.? Will you use wipes, fades or just cuts?
Maybe try and explore more of the actual AESTHEIC film-making issues, alongside the more practical ones.
But a good solid start on which to base some more info.

I like it
I guess Clickme *made* some changes but failed to give notice here. Anyway, there are still some occurrences of first person style, and a few stubborn typos left. And the entry would be better readable if you split up the biiig paragraphs into smaller ones.
All in all: not much left to do apart from a few stylistic things

I could take that he thing as an insult but lucky for you I'm not going to.
I've put in the paragraphs now but I'm not too good at spoting the typos so do you think you could point them out for me?

Ok, will do my best
Make the first sentence: "This may seem obvious but it's going to be said anyway"
havn't -> haven't
"difficult, infact I think it's safe to say immpossible" -> 'difficult, if not impossible'
"If you are thinking..." -> 'If you are thinking of getting one then you should consider buying a digital one. They are more expensive but with a capture card as well you can edit your film on your own computer. This might be better than using a separate editor'
resourses -> resources
As researcher... -> A researcher pointed out
The one that came... -> Some batteries only last for half an hour and take ..
(also pointed out by researcher Mycroft) -> Footnote (or give credits in the Edit box )
"I suggest you write..." -> It is a good idea to write your own,...
"I sujest this mainly " -> This is suggested mainly
realisticly -> realistically
realisticaly -> (same)
copy write -> copyright
If your not sure -> If you're not sure
two cameras or as I did you can -> two cameras or you can
possitions -> positions
compleatly -> completely (3x)
definatly -> definitely
audience belife -> audience believe
- Quoting your own experience could be done this way:
As one researcher puts it,
For instance in my film 'Connection' I used ... to make a very realistic one.
reherse, rehersals -> rehearse, rehearsals
"I sujest you experiment" -> you should perhaps experiment
(likewise with further pieces of first person)
cuting -> cutting
actors names -> actors' names
beggining -> beginning
seperate -> separate
your happy -> you're happy
emosion -> emotion
charectors -> characters (2x)
thier -> their
partictular -> particular
charactors thoughts -> charactors' thoughts
shortend -> shortened
sholdar -> shoulder
literaly -> literally
subjects vulnerablity amd -> subject's vulnerablity and
about it's axis -> about its axis
That's it
Just a question: "location scouts" - what's this please?

Wow theres loads there I didn't even think of! I couldn't think o a better way to put it but a location scout is where you basically go around looking for the best places to shoot different scenes.

The para "Unfortunatly I can't..." still is in first person style.
A lot of typos is still there Perhaps you could copy the text into a word processor and run a spell checker?
Or, as it's only those nasty things left, perhaps leave it to the SubEd -- but us Scouts will get severely hurt for suggesting things like this

Your title, "Film, the making" does not make proper sense in English. It should be "Film making" or "Making a film".
There seems to be a lot of good advice in this entry.
