Greetings one and all.

There doesn't seem to be any articles about Bill Hicks, so I'd thought I'd have a go. It's my first attempt at a Guide Entry, so I'd welcome any comments......

Thanks

Well done! smiley - ok

There might be people asking you to use a thing called GuideML (h2g2's own markup language, derived from HTML, description available at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/GuideML-Clinic ). But that's *no* real requirement!

The only niggle I have to make is that you appear to be working with a word processor, and the apostrophs (') get mucked up when copying the text into the edit screen, to become some ugly ’ thingies. Working offline is a very good idea (and you'll have backup copies automatically smiley - smiley ), and you can work around this by saving the files in TEXT mode before copying into the Edit screen.

This one will sure make it into the Edited guide, and you should put it up for Peer Review (at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/PeerReview)smiley - ok

Bossel

Thanks for the input.

You're right:- I was using a Word Processor, and I'd thought I'd got all the darn apostrophes sorted. Looks like I missed a couple.....

Unless anyone else has any comments, I'll have a bash at that there GuideML thingie, then submit for Peer Review.

Cheers
