I noticed a definite lack of information on Scotlands biggest export, so I hope this will be of use to some people.

Will be sin bined for not having title in subject line.... BUT
I think this a good entry with potential for greatness.
First, I think it could benifit from some GuideML, it would make it a lot more readable.
Second, I think you should mention "finishing" at least a bit since you go into barrel types quite a bit anyway.
Third, Glenmorangie didn't make your top ten?!

I'm a relative novice at this so I haven't a clue how to go about using GlideML (Basic HTML is my limit).
As for Glenmorangie, the port wood finish they bought out a few years ago is probably at 11 or 12 on my list.
Thanks for taking the time to read the article anyway.

Yeah, the Port Wood finish is good... (I like the 18 year myself)
There is a fairly clear guide to GuideML here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A187229
It isn't really very different than HTML a few added tags and a lot of disallowed tags (thereby making it somewhat simpler than HTML)
Check it out, as it can make a big difference in the readablity of an entry.

Thanks, I'll have a look at it and see if I can improve the look of it.
PS One Glenmorangie to avoid has got to be their Cask strength (58%) version, it's like drinking neat rocket fuel. I love Cask Strength whisky as a general rule, but that one was just too aggressive.

I don't think I have ever seen it...
But I'll keep in mind to avoid it
I like their 18 year so much, that since I found it, it is hard to find the time and justify the money for trying something else....

Uisque Beatha, I think that might be the Irish spelling. In Scots Gaelic I think it's Uisgue Beatha or Uisge Beatha, I might be wrong but it's worth checking.

Will the participants of this thread please move over to the other thread at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F48874?thread=130002 (this thread will be moved to the Sin Bin, because of the missing title in the headline -- a purely formal reason! Bossel (Scout)
