Skepticism and humour

It is absolutely necessary that people without a sense of humour be kept out of religion/politics.
Without a sense of humour, you cannot be a skeptic.
Skeptics without a sense of humour are mere nay-sayers who don't have a life.
Politics/Religion are jokes. Anyone who wants to successfully communicate those jokes must be a comedian. It is that simple.
In order to be a comedian, you have to realize that everything is inherently funny, even death. Reality demands that someone who wishes to lie about it using religitics or poligion should leaven the horsepucky with a little levity.
It is that simple. If people are going to die or be uncomfortable because of what you say and do, make sure they get to laugh on the way to the grave or the bed of nails.
There are enough tears in the world without a bunch of po-faced humourless idiots repeating bad jokes poorly.
