Ghosts and strawberries. Could there be a more logical combination?
Clicking on the strawberries will advance you through the game, but be careful - click a ghost, and you go back a level!
Catch any strawberry to begin!
Mind the ghost!
Did you expect this to get easier?
Let's mix things up a little more!
Keep gathering those berries!
Ooooooh! It's getting haunted in here.
Back and forth and back and forth...
And forth and back and forth and back... Getting seasick yet?
Wheehee! Catch that berry!
Congratulations! Now you, too, know the thrill of being the youngest player in a game of Strawberry Ghost!
The original Strawberry Ghost was invented by the Sistabarista when she was four, carefully drawn in crayon on the back of something mis-printed. Players advanced along a row of squares, collecting strawberries, and whenever they hit a square with a ghost, the ghost moved - though that had absolutely no effect on gameplay. Her rules for it stated that the first person to reach the end wins, the youngest player starts, and there are no dice - each player moves exactly one square per turn. Guess who was the youngest person in the house...
