The original Strawberry Ghost was invented by the Sistabarista when she was four, carefully drawn in crayon on the back of something mis-printed. Players advanced along a row of squares, collecting strawberries, and whenever they hit a square with a ghost, the ghost moved - though that had absolutely no effect on gameplay. Her rules for it stated that the first person to reach the end wins, the youngest player starts, and there are no dice - each player moves exactly one square per turn. Guess who was the youngest person in the house...
