I searched the backlog a bit and found A62644485
it looks good but a 'moderate deluge' seems to be a bit of an oxymoron.

That's the one I am tweaking as it will be the only one I can apply, as there's no-one to tweak this one in PR
Can you think of a word or sentence other than "inclement" then? It sounds to me like a moderate climate, not too hot, not too cold. A bit like where I live. I can never tell what season it is sometimes, as we get a nice spring day in winter, then snow at Easter, then a wet summer, followed by a mild winter, a warm spring, hot days in summer, wet autumn then the coldest winter on record...that's just two years. It can rain or shine any damned day it pleases. Some days we get both. I don't think we can define a climate as such, other than "moderate" or "not extreme".

in reference to Post #85 You are right the Blob misspelled the city in which I am writing this.
I was so overwhelmed by the other inadequacies of the blob that I missed the obvious.

Oh and GB- I like the phrase inclement weather. It is neutral enough to need a qualifier like moderate.
Using a qualifier on Downpours, Deluges and blizzards
is like calling a woman a little bit pregnant.
A doctor once said she either is or isn't
and a deluge either is or isn't.
Inclement weather on the other hand can be slightly inclement, moderately inclement, or severely inclement.

I promise I'll do a better illustration. Let's just use the existing one for now.

Will the Eds send out an e-mail to the author?

Here is the update, with co-authors applied: A134786
Is there anyone else whom I've missed who'd like to be added?
I was hoping redshirt42 would get to know about his update, but I don't think the Eds send out emails for updates when they're on the FP. We can always ask though.

I've applied the update (that I took over) to the original EGE. The thread here in PR will remain until the Eds shift it to the original article, I've asked them here: F47997?thread=7270972

Please remove my name from the author's list.
I was talked into supplying info for this because
I live in Michigan but do not wish to consider this an article I co-authored.
Key: Complain about this post
