Dear Editors,
the inter-entry links don't work, the entry number is missing, for instance before the '#winkeye'.

It is more a case of them still not working since this has been reported before. The problem is the result of people not understanding HTML properly (plus it could be that previously there were genuine pages so the links *could* be local). With the current system, the smileys at the top are of the form:
<SMILEY TYPE="winkeye" H2G2="#winkeye"/>
whereas they should be:
<SMILEY TYPE="winkeye" H2G2="A588260#winkeye"/>
which will get expanded to have the dna, h2g2 and skin parts added automatically.
