A Conversation for Previous Topics of the Week
Update
Trout Montague Posted Dec 3, 2002
Will it be updated to include the current but as yet uncompleted Collaborative Topics ... there doesn't seem to be a way of finding the Collaborative Topic of the Week from last week or the week before or the week before that once it's disappeared off the front page.
Know what I mean?

This list is updated when we publish the edited article, until then collaborative entries hang in the ether.
I've sent a note to the team to remind us to update this page every Friday.

1) Leaving them hanging in the Ether isn't much kop is it?
2) Suggestion: You could at least have signposts to the 2-3 'pending' collaborative entries in each new Collaborative title page.

No it isn't, but it is the best we can do at the moment. The entries do appear on the front page, so you can subscribe to them from there.

Why would we want to do this? We want people to contribute to the current topic of the week instead of diverting them elsewhere.
I'm all for automating this, but I don't want to make the Topic of the Week more labour intensive than it already is.

I only want to contribute to your guide. Sorry if that makes work for you! I would have thought you would want to encourage, not discourage, contributions.

How about if we put the limbo entries on this page under a separate heading - that would be easier to track and is less labour intensive. In fact it would save us a hell of a job.
Thank you for the input and ideas

That would be absolutely class Ashley, thank you.
In return, I will now post my Collaborative Topic of the Week efforts in pre-prepared GuideML. How's that for cooperation.

That would be a marvellous example of leading by example - thank you, my friend.
I'll update the list tomorrow.

The one about Games in the Office isn't on the list.
And the ski-resort has already gone edited - it's no longer pending. Does that mean there are only two currently on the go?
