A brilliant article to be sure, however one important consideration has been overlooked; that is, the potential, or lack thereof, for the octopus' skills in the modern world of politics.

Is is possible for the esteemed author to address this?

If I didn't check through my old articles I'd never get to read these posts. Sorry about the delay in replying.

It's an interesting suggestion actually, one that tickles the parts most thoughts can't reach. And one I might have time to explore in the near future. It would probably be in the form of a short story though, rather than the scientific study this article represented. I'll post back here if I ever get it done.
