You've got the beginning of a great article there but there is one thing: you'll have to fill in some verbs and more grammar. There are way too many ellipses (...) and single words.
And, seeing that your very own writing style uses a lot of lists, how about trying to use GuideML. It's not a requirement, but it makes ordered and unordered lists so easy!
Here's a quick guide (the full one is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/guideML-clinic ):
First, let the entry begin with and end with .
Essentially, you have to make sure that each tag has its very own closing tag, eg:
{Title goes in here}
{Title goes in here}
{Paragraph contents go in here}
And now for the Ordered and Unordered List (OL and UL). OL items will be numbered automatically, whereas UL items get a bullet in front of them. Both item types will be indented.
This is item 1
This is item 2
This is item 1
This is item 2
Very important: Make sure to check the GuideML style button which is at the bottom of the edit screen. This is only required once per entry.
hope that helps,

Alas, this thread will be sent to the sin bin. For housekeeping reasons the subject line needs to contain the 'A' number of the article. Something like this - A123456 - How to write essays.
Incidently there are many ways to write essays. Maybe your yarn should be retitled (and reworked) "So you want to write an essay" or similar.

Well, this is just for the records. I've posted to the Scouts' eGroup in parallel, in order to have the thread removed.
So, in passing I note you're another one of the researchers who only read through the *first* page of peer review? tstststs! (Please correct me if I'm wrong!)

Sorry Bossell
I'm darn glad this thread is getting sin-binned.

Loony, please see the posting on the eGroup. I'm *not* going to assume a role of a 'PR policeman'.
Besides, it's only genetic for a Sauerkraut to keep things orderly, isn't it?

Editorial Note: This conversation has been moved from 'Peer Review' to 'Peer Review Sin Bin'.
Hi folks,
This thread has been moved to the Sin Bin because it's got an improperly formatted title (i.e. it should be 'A-number: title'), and it also appears to be empty!
