A Conversation for An Introduction to Programming
Lisp and Scheme

I'm picking on Lisp/Scheme because (after putting it off for a couple of decades) I happen to have used them recently, but they're good examples of programming languages that fall a little way outside the programming paradigm being discussed here.
Anybody who has a Palm computer can download Fred Bayer's implementation of Scheme for the Palm. Scheme is a great way to
learn how to program well, and Fred's implementation provides a very good way of writing useful programs for the Palm _on the Palm itself_.
