Just a thought... you point out many pitfalls in IQ tests, but make no specific examples. Your article would be imporved by specific examples of, say, culturally biased questions, or "open" questions.
My favorite is a "black culture" IQ test my psychology teacher showed me once... One question was, "If the dice are rolled and show snake eyes, what's on the bottom of the dice?" The answer, of course, is "Boxcars".
Translation: If you roll two dice and get two ones, then what's on the bottom faces of the dice? The answer is two sixes. Yes, it's racist in a way, but that was kind of the point.
