It seems strange that you'd get banned rather than put in pre-mod. I mean I had to make bad taste necrophilia jokes before they kicked me off the boards.
The only thing I can think of is that they're clamping down on people who post on multiple boards but that seems ridiculously harsh.

I did, but a lot of alcohol has passed through me since then. Can't recall their exact words.

I had a number of posts removed but I got banned for something fairly innocuous.
I was suggesting possible spoof topics on other sports boards
I think Eastbourne got culled at the same time as he had made comments on the same thread.
Sir Ryan of Giggshire was also on there and seemed to get away with it even though all his previous articles had been pulled.

Thats the trouble R&F. They keep giving WUMs second chances, and decent users just gets banned straight away. The three of us on here who have been banned are all better posters then many on 606. You would think that they would look at your posting history,and the age of you account before taking any action.
That was pretty much is GAR. They said that what you said was pretty bad, and considering you past comment as well there wasn't much they go do. Words to that effect anyway.

I had my Friday news article removed last week ... it was the twentieth week in a row I've written it, and they've never felt the need to get rid of any of the previous ones but this one was deemed 'off-topic'. I don't know how their systems work, but I'm sure they've got an over exuberant work-experience kid in at the moment

Eastbourne should know better. He was banned before for invading the fencing boards. I survived that one somehow. They never seem to be consistent with there bannings.
