This sort of advice should definitely be in the guide. If it offends any religious zealots, too ing bad. It might just save a life, and that's way more important.

Some things will need to be changed to get this into the Edited Guide. Edited Guide Entries can't be linked to unedited Guide Entries, and I think there are one or two of those in your list of related links. I would also suggest integrating your links into the text, rather than keeping them in a separate section.

The bit where you invite people to tell you how they get on with the advice will have to go too, I'm afraid. For a start, it contravenes the general Edited Guide rule against writing in the first person, and also it invites responses that would be likely to break the House Rules! Finally, there's a typo near the start of the Entry, where you've spelt 'position' wrong.

But generally, very good work, and I really hope this makes it into the Guide!

The first line of the entry contains a rather major factual error: "...women, as they are much more at risk of catching HIV than are men."

Categorically, it is *not* true that women are at higher risk of catching HIV than men -- if that was the case, most people with AIDS would be women. It is true that during heterosexual penile-vaginal intercourse, more body fluids pass from man to woman than vice versa, and hence it is easier for HIV to be transmitted from man to woman than the vice versa.

However, given the epidemiology of HIV, alternate routes of transmission, and the fact that not all sex is penile-vaginal, you cannot simply jump to the conclusion than women are at higher risk for HIV.

If your article is "slightly suspect", it will go back into moderation every time you make a change to it, as the moderators will not be able to decide if it is OK and will just refer it on to the editors. What Trillian's Child did in the end was put a big notice at the top saying "Moderators, this article has already been moderated and is OK. Ask ABI if you don't believe me" or something like that. Alternatively, save up all your changes and apply them in one go.
