My great-grandmother has arthritis and the treatment she uses/used (don't know if she still does it) is placing her hands on molten parrafin and then covering her hands in bandages, to keep the heat in. Does that help really help arthritis?
Ah, and what's the relationship between arthritis and bee stings? I've heard somethings about it...

Never heard of the parafin treatment!
Whatever works for you, I guess.
I heard something similar about mustard.
And I suppose a bee sting would take your mind off the pain of arthritis

Heh (at the bee sting thing)
Anyway, there was a documentary on arthritis and after reading this article on the post I decided to see it. Apparently, one of the ingredients on the bee venom is an anti-inflamatory, supposedly way stronger than the current non-steroidal.

I am friends with a beekeeper and he gets stung quite a bit by his bees. Alas he has bad arthritis. I take a teaspoon of raw honey and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water three times daily. I think it helps. Also motion is lotion!
