What does it mean?
Some inverted coming-of-age?

Wasn't it Coleridge who said "a poem should not mean but be"?...
Anyway, when I wrote this, I was preparing for my intermediate examination in English and American literature. At one point I felt that losing my mind was a proper reaction to days and nights of reading and... more reading. Lines and quotes from all sort of texts were buzzing round my head, and rather than having these continue buzzing around my head, I decided to write 'em down. Next morning I found I liked what I had written, so I completed that "poem". Funny, though: There I was, reacting to spending so much time in the libraries, and at the same time I was complaining about them closing too early - so might have lost my mind already...
