http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A573635 I've been saving up articles from my last few vacations. This one's on Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which has a brief mention in the Edited Guide's Louisiana entry but is otherwise mostly unmentioned. This article went to Writer's Workshop, at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F57153?thread=120051 .

I like it. It's a nice perspective on the place. I only have one big question to ask. What exactly is an Official State Mother anyway?

The Official State Motherhood room was not specific as to what an Official State Mother does, but Louisiana has a new Official State Mother every year.
Do you suppose I should update my entry with what I know about motherhood in Louisiana? I could probably do it in thirty seconds...
