Hey, at least we have the same problem. 
You're not sexless! Or hairless! You're just have no formal place in the classification system used by hair professionals. So don't feel shocked when the hairdressed does the entirely wrong thing for no apparent reason. 
(And no, hair professionals aren't really dumb enough to use a scale like that. Now, men are another story...)

I went to a hairdresser for the first time in about 10 years a few weeks ago and all she wanted to do was cut most of my hair off! 
I could argue that she was trying to turn me into something I wasn't, but suspect that she was trying to eradicate split ends! LOL
Hope the final went/goes ok Frags

Thanks, Shazz. Things are looking okay for the final this afternoon. Less than 12 hours to go...
Perhaps the hairdresser was trying to 'eradicate' any trace of ambiguous redheadedness. Perhaps she's uncomfortable with redheads! It's a conspiracy, I tell you...

I still maintain that redheads have the most fun of anyone and can still be intelligent, caring and sensible without ever descending into 'boring'
