Dear pheloxi Thank you for showing me the way to the website for Peace and all the other wonderful things you have on it. I have signed the Manifesto and have a splendid copy of the six principles and also of my promise and committment.
It really is wonderful the way you have shown me this site. I am over the moon with it. You will surely approve of the only demonstration I have attended since living in England which happened last Wednesday the 19th June 2002. I have written about it rather flippantly in my journal. But it meant so much to me to see all those wonderful people in front of the Houses of Parliament all lobbying their MP's so that fair prices could be given to those growing crops and produce in the poorer countries. CAFOD to which I belong is running a campaign in order to donate filters for pure water to those in poorer countries. Having lived for the first 65 years of my life in South Africa and Central Africa I am well aware of how important it is to share our technological skills with those living in these countries.

Dear pheloxi I am sorry tht I did not reply to this earlier. You are an excellent ambassador for all these wonderful organisations. I would like United Friends to be made more aware of all this that is going on. At the moment there is a wonderful discussion group on "organic cocoa" which is teaching me a lot. It all comes from the Receipe library.and the receipe is Chocolate Brownies!. I do not know how to give you the tread line.
It is lovely weather here but I have got a cold so am feeling sniffly and a little bit sorry for myself. I hate colds. Have a good weekend. Kind regards AR1

I hate colds too, but I walk all summer in shorts and t-shirts even when rains like today. something real happened while I was walking on the market some marketholder who sells CDs played Bing Crosby's White Xmas and I can get it out of my head

I used to love walking in the rain, now I do not particularly like be wheeled in the rain!! But can quite understand your enjoying it.

if want add A(rticle)number to your name you can do it like I did in your nick name. look for Preferences on your space if click on that you find your nickname and you can add anything, but do not add URL that is not allowed. you can add Anumber.
