Well, it's all about ball control

Cedar is a short, testing course, very undulating down the bottom end.

Plenty of sand, big trees and water....

I haven't had the pleasure of demolishing Sid on the golf course. I am sure he would be less than the dust under the wheels of my wagon of Triumph... I base this on the round I played last Sunday, when my game was that of the Gods.

Actually I don't think I've ever played proper golf so I wouldn't know how much I suck

P.G Wodehouse once said that as a golfer you might be disgusted by the beginner who has never held a club and who holes out with his umbrella the 9 ft putt ball that you yourself fiddles over for three minutes before you bash it to hell.

There is a lot of truth in that. This afternoon I am going to play with my wife. It's her first time.

Wodehouse has also said things about the golfing wife, but as I'm a gentleman I will not repeat it here...

I had two really rotten first holes, but then things picked up. Even made me a few pars. My wife played very well for being out on a course for the first time ever. She said to begin with that she wanted to pick up golf only to become better at it than me, but since we all know that there is absolutely no challenge what so ever in that, I think she's actually bitten by it now

I would not even entertain bringing my misses into the game of golf... a mans got to have a few vices!!!...
