I don't see anything 'fundamentally absurd' there
You've started right into writing entries and even mastered GuideML!
Ok, as to the entry:
The paragraphs look better if you enclose them with para tags (they work just like any other HTML/GuideML tag):
*contents here*
You could write something more about the bread itself, just to justify the header (or re-title it to 'Toast and Toasters' or so).
Eg, that toast is wheat bread and white (in contrast to the greyish rye bread which is somewhat hard to find in the UK or USA), the uniform size of the slices etc.
Just a few words more, and you're all set!
Thanks

Oh, I forgot (or did you insert that now?) - please don't use 1st person style for entries which are meant to go into the Edited guid. 'I' and 'we' are generally frowned upon by the PTB (the Powers That Be). 'Research has found..' or something like that is acceptable.
Hee hee, there's also a perpetual motion engine which was built around toast and cats. Cats always fall onto their legs, and toast always onto the buttered side. So if you glued or otherwise attach a buttered slice of toast to the back of a cat and threw the package out of the window (I say: /if/, I don't say /do it/ !), there are counteracting moments of the cat and the toast which will lead to everlasting rotation instead of them both falling to the ground...
Thanks Again

Thanks - when I re-edited I forgot about the first-person thing. I've changed it.
Thanks
