man, that's gray magic, not green. Where did you get green from? also, if black magic is the magic of destruction, than X-zone really should be black magic, as it is the ultimate destroyer spell.
Listen.
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Aug 23, 2001
I'm using my own personal system of magic, based loosely on that of Final Fantasy VI. And "Death" is technically a status ailment, and X-Zone amounts to the same as death* while messing with time and space, so don't bother me about something illogical I made up myself.
[*Footnote: Sort of. There's a way to get yourself or someone else out of the X-Zone, but I won't go into it here.]

Just "loosely"? I happen to also play FF VI, and would have WON the darned thing already if the stupid memory card hadn't gone kaput on me on the 4th disk. *sigh* Oh well...
Just had to mention that for some reason, as I rather like the game. It seems, too, that you've found more GFs than me...

[YK] Kudos, you noron, VI means 6, not 8! VIII means 8! And, uh, I've basically come up with my own stuff. FF8 doesn't have "Knights of the Round", I believe, and I don't have ... well, MOST of the GF's! Hmph!
[[Vanish]]
[Clipboard and Kudos become invisible]
[[X-Zone]]
[A hole in the space-time continuum opens up behind Kudos and Clipboard and then closes. Before it closes, they are standing, invisible in front of YK. After it closes, they find themselves, no longer invisible, in a strange, empty place. The ground seems to be of an indistinct, uniform earth, and even though there's a tiny bit of light, it doesn't actually illuminate anything, nor is it clear where the illumination is coming from. Everything is a dismal gray.]
[Voice] Excuse me ...
[Behind them is a tall, imposing figure, with purple skin, red-orange bat wings, black pants, and apparent evil.]

Eh...hehe. Whoops...
*reminds self to re-study Roman numerals*
...errr, well, I really have to go now...nice knowing you, right?
Listen.
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Aug 27, 2001
[Imposing Figure] Do you know /how/ to leave this place? I do. It is impossible to do it alone.
Listen.

[pops back into X-ZONE through dimension portal]
Hey, I was just over at T.G.I.Doomsday's...What were you talking about?
Listen.
Psycho Girl(a queen first, jester second) Posted Sep 19, 2001
kudos, you screwed up good. and don't call my memory card stupid! i still depend on that thing and if you hurt it's feelings, i'll lose FF9 along with other things!
oh, yeah, you watch the simpsons. what was tree house of horror VI then?
Listen.
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 19, 2001
Six.
This is now an RP thread, not a conversation thread. I'd like to have a reasonable explaination about what you're doing in the X-Zone and why you're being so conversational about it instead of alarmed.

*An Elven figure in black warps into the X-Zone, seems to move rapidly, while at the same time moving slowly, somersaults over the talking figures, and lands with his back to the group.*
[Ghostwalker] Now then... Where would they be...
Listen.
Wargamer (The Wanderer) Posted May 24, 2002
*Turns to face the mysterious figure. When he speaks, it sounds like several people talking in almost perfect unison.*
[Ghostwalker] A dying shadow in a world of lights. A soul without a body for my own. I am Ghostwalker. I stalk the void, seeking foes that no other can defeat. I return your question; who are you?
Listen.
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted May 24, 2002
[Figure] I am Culex, Dark Knight of Vanda. I came to the realm of H2G2 to fight for the Dark Mage, but I was cast into the X-Zone. I now wish to return to the Vanda, but I was ill-equipped for dimensional travel.
Listen.
Wargamer (The Wanderer) Posted May 26, 2002
[Ghostwalker] I cannot help you there. My power moves me and me alone. I'm sorry...
Listen.
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted May 26, 2002
[Culex mutters something unintelligible but probably obscene]
Listen.
Wargamer (The Wanderer) Posted May 27, 2002
[Ghostwalker] Very well. If you don't wish to be communicative...
*Turns away, jumps, and seems to move slowly, while at the same time very fast...*
