Yar Kramer's Definitive Guide to His Spells

1 Conversation

I got this idea from Affy; I'll make a list of all the spells my characters are capable of using. I'm using the Magic Color system from the Free-Form Fantasy Forum. They all have Levels, which determines how powerful they are. The maximum level is 5.
When Yar or one of his characters uses one of these spells in the forums or on a page, the name of the spell will be shown [[in two sets of brackets and blue]], or [[red]] if it's Green Magic*, or [[green]] if it's a non-magic skill, followed by a description of what's happening. Also, Ultros and Chupon may use one of a few other skills, but those skills would be Blue Magic, which is skills stolen from monsters, and since they technically are monsters, they don't count.
Anyway, spells come in four types: Type A spells can be used on one target, or on more than one target but with less efficiency; Type B spells can only be used on all targets that the user is facing; Type C spells can only be used on one target; and Type D spells are used with the same effect on everyone: user, allies, enemies, everyone.
There's also twelve Element types:
    Earth
    Wind
    Water
    Fire
    Ice
    Lightning
    Poison
    Gravity
    Light
    Dark
    Spoony
    Tastes Like Orange Tang

Note: Healing spells only go up to Level-4, because 4 heals 'em completely.
    Cure - Level-1 healing spell. (Type A)
    Cure 2 - Level-2 healing spell. (Type A)
Cure Also - Level-3 healing spell. (Type A)
    Restore - Level-4 healing spell. (Type A)

Life 2 - Level-4 healing spell. Restores fallen allies. (Type C)
Autolife - When cast, the person it's cast on will survive any mortal wound, which is then healed. That, or it automatically revives them if they fall. (Type C)
Antidot - Level-1 healing spell that cures poison and dots. (Type A)
Esuna - Level-2 healing spell that cures all status effects. (Type A)

Yellow Magic

Poison - Level-1 attack spell that casts Poison on the target. (Type A)
Bio - Level-3 attack spell that casts Poison on the target. (Type A)
Muddle - Muddles the target (they hit their allies with attacks and their enemies with curative things). (Type C)
Berserk - Makes the target berserk. (Type C)
Blind - Blinds the target (they can't see). (Type C)
Mute - Makes the target unable to speak and therefore unable to use magic. (Type A)
Vanish - Makes target invisible. (Type C)
Kappa - (Renamed from Imp to avoid confusion when Stiletta Weaver and her Imps of a different sort are around) Transforms target into a Kappa, which is a green creature wearing a helmet and looking like a cross between a duck (sans feathers) and a frog. It also transforms them from a Kappa. Any Kappa-related spells or items transform beings both to and from Kappas, whichever they weren't before. (Type C)
Reflect - Casts Reflect on the ally of choice (including self). Reflect means, any spells used bounce off the being who has Reflect on them. Reflect will not work on spells that have already been reflected. Works until battle ends. (Type C)
Reflect 2 - Casts Reflect 2 on the ally of choice (including self); same as Reflect, but anything bounces off it. Only works for about five posts. (Type C)
Shell - Defensive spell; magic attacks work only half as well as what is usual for someone with Shell status, regardless of their reaction type. (Type C)
Float - Causes the target of choice to hover above the ground, making them invulnerable to Earth-based attacks and more vulnerable to Wind-based attacks. (Type C)
Strength Up - Makes the target somewhat physically stronger for a short time and increases his/her/its courage. (Type A)
Magic Up - Makes the target somewhat magically more powerful for a short time. It decreases fear in the target, which amounts to the same thing as increasing courage but requires that the target be afraid for this effect to work. (Type A)
Scan - Gives HP/MP reading of target*, and lists reaction types. (Type C)
Doom - Kills target. Usually fails, but if the target is invisible, it WILL work. (Type C)
Break - Turns target to stone. (Type C)
Restart - Starts the battle over from the beginning, including changes in health/magic/status. (Type N/A)
Stop - Immobilizes target for a short while. (Type C)
Slow - Makes target half as fast. (Type C)
Slow 2 - Makes target one-fourth as fast. (Type C)
Haste - Makes allies twice as fast. (Type C)
Haste 2 - Makes allies three times as fast. (Type C)

    Comet Also - Level-4 attack. (Type C)
    Meteor - Level-5 attack. (Type B)
X-Zone - Transfers enemies to the X-Zone, which amounts to the same thing as killing them. Often prone to failure, unless target is invisible, in which case it always works. (Type B)

Blue Magic

This is abilities stolen from enemies, or just used by Ultros and Chupon.
Sneeze - Removes all enemies from the battle. Doesn't actually harm them. (Type A)
Tentacle - Slaps all enemies with tentacles. Level-2 attack. (Type B)
Kappa Song - Transforms everyone who hears it to/from a Kappa. (See "Kappa" under Yellow Magic.) (Type B)
L.3 Muddle - Casts "Muddle" on L.3,6, ... person.* To be more precise, it only works on humanoid life forms (or death forms or droids) and only works if their level is a multiple of 3. (Type B)
L.5 Doom - Kills target. Only works if target's level is a multiple of 5. (Type B)
L.7 Spoony - If the target's level is a multiple of 7, it works as a Level-3 healing spell. Otherwise, it counts as a non-elemental Level-3 attack. However, if the target is a Spoony-elemental enemy or is wearing Spoony-resistant armor, the situation is reversed. (Type B)
L.??? Holy* - If the target's level is a multiple or a factor of the caster's, it deals Level-4 Holy-elemental damage. Otherwise, it heals them. (Type B)
Ink - Launches a ball of ink into the target's face, making them blind. (Type A)
Quasar - Does a ludicrously cool-looking battle animation that fills the whole screen. Level-4 attack. Non-elemental. (Type B)
