How about we all turn up in t-shirts saying "we're here with Grizzly Adams", referring to Mr Moxon's current hirsute state?
Or hiring an 'exotic entertainer' to turn up in an 'Official Moxon Fan Club' t-shirt?

But then we wouldn't be able to wear our other Tshirts!
What about trying to get OMMFC badges made... and distribute them to interested parties when they arrrive wherever it is we're going?
What about getting a trophy engraved for each of the itallics, and to receive them they have to pay a forfeit?

I remember that at the last meet I tried to find the biggest, hairiest and nastiest Australian tourist I could, and then get him to turn up to the meetup wearing a Matthew Kershaw name badge.
Sadly, this malicious plan was thwarted by the absence of any suitable Antipodean brick s**thouses.

I think you should present Mark with a large bill for your contributions to h2g2. Ask him to send it along to the BBC.
Oh, and from his replied to this column we have such repeatable gems as:
"Another cracker..."
"It's a fair old job, so it will take time."
"Care to give it a go?"
"...at least we're here to talk about things, rather than simply stamping people's work with 'NO!' and
leaving it at that."
(and my personal favorite)
"h2g2 is written by the people, for the people."

Just arrived here from the Location Guesses/Suggestions thread..
Sounds like there's some good plotting going on!
I thought badges were a good idea anyway, maybe the h2g2 staff will print us off some (based on the party list), with Name, Rank and Researcher No. Good chance for the volunteers to show off..

Hmmmmm... last time we just had little yellow stickit labels, hastily written by Peta and slapped on any-old-where I seem to remember!
Thanx for the sound bites Frags... very useful

Hmm...
Anything else we can do to subvert the party?

I'm out of ideas... unless we can persuade Ashley to demonstrate what this 'dog' acted like... http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A545159

Here's another - Zaphodistas and their sympathisers might want to turn up wearing T-shirts or badges with non-BBC URLs on them, and see if they get 'moderated'... or one of those 'bleep machines' and use it liberally whenever Mark speaks... Or we could just tie them up and force them to listen to our poetry...

Ah, you're making me wish I could be there, Lucinda.
I've got a particularly silly one. The Moxon impersonators could wear t-shirts with the words 'Sex Life' written inside a circle with a diagonal line across.

Ah yes, I read that a while back. Asley sure does move in strange cirlces hey? (No stranger than here though I guess).
Perhaps someone could bring a chain and somehow tie Mark up to a post (just hope he doesn't pee on it).

You'd be surprised how many people move in 'strange circles.' The only thing unusual about Ashley is that he doesn't bother concealing it. (Good thing for us too!)

Everyone is strange in someway, if you weren't it would be, er... strange.
Key: Complain about this post
