This is just a little yarn from my recent trip to the States. Be gentle, be kind...

There's plenty more to come... they'll trickle through Peer Review one by one

I'd have to agree with that, but I would also add that Texans, on the whole, are level headed and exceptionally welcoming.
I'm heading back for Labor Day...

How does he find the time to write all these entries?
I like it Ashley, but what exactly is the two-step?
I come from the bobbing-up-and-down-on-the-spot-whilst-moving-arms-around school of dancing I'm afraid

Relaxed style, easy reading ... nicely done ... and worth inclusion in the Guide.

Theres a good start on the entry but I feel that more is needed on the guide.
One, the two step is a type of waltz. In other words, it is danced to a song with a standard 3/4 rythm, basically what that means is that it has three beats.
In other words you can waltz to many country songs or two-step to many waltz's. It is not uncommon to see people crossing over dance styles like this.
I also hear there is another way to two-step. I will prolly ask my bro or sis on this seeing they have more experience in dance halls.
Actually my brother was in the army and was stationed in germany for a while. It seems that in germany, at least on any of the bases, that there is country music played on a regular basis!!
Except congratulations!

This entry has been selected for inclusion into the Edited Guide!
You've cleared the first hurdle!
Assuming you don't count coming up with the idea, doing the research, writing the entry, and submitting it to Peer Review as hurdles! )
From here, your entry will be featured on the What's Coming Up? page for a while and it will receive a 'Recommended' tag beside it on your personal space. Then it will be sent out to a Subeditor for review. Then, when the Sub gets done with it, it'll reappear on you personal space again with a 'Pending' tag beside it.
Once it is 'pending' it will get a final review by the in-house editorial team and then join the queue for the front page (unless it goes to the art team for a little bit of artwork first).
When it appears on the front page, you'll receive a personal email from Mr. Mark Moxon, editor and all-around nice guy, informing you that you've made it the whole way through the process!
But for now, get back to work and write another great entry of this one's calibre so we can do this all again really soon (if you want to of course!).
But you knew all that stuff I reckon.

Congratulations!
