If you're typing it directly from something else, it won't work as it's truncated and typing it doesn't take into account the bits and bobs that are in the middle truncated bit. A link to the original link would probably be better

To the untrained eye your link and mine look identical, but if you're on a PC and you move the mouse over mine, you get the full name of the link. Threads abbreviate long links to stop them breaking the pages.
