h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

How very very odd. So, people complained, I changed it, it got posted without my changes, and more people have now complained. Well, I made more changes because of the most recent complaint, I'm sure they'll get lost too. That or there will be two separate copies, an edited version and an unedited version... or maybe the edited version has now gotten lost?

Yes. The website is www.stilyagi.org. The con that we run is called ConFusion, every January. There are other cons around the area, and I try to keep the list up to date, but it's not really working properly right now, since my server is inoperative and it's on the backup site.

The good news is that they keep an "Update Headquarters" A496451 where people can recommend updates to articles in the Edited Guide. The bad news is that their latest updates listed on that page appear to have been August 2001.

Maybe they update the "Update HQ" page less often than they actually update entries. Which would be pretty ironic, but quite appropriate for h2g2.
