Nice writing-up.
You should keep the children's books, especially the classics to either pass on to your children if they become parents, or to read to your grandchildren when they visit. Keep some toys, too (Lego is indestructible) for the same reasons.

Noticed a coople of speling erers, one of which looks like mine, 'biolts' or soemthign I think it was, instead of 'bolts',

Mala's lovely suggestion of using the material from worn out baby clothes to cut up for quilt pieces ( in the original thread ) has sparked another memory. The tiniest baby clothes - the ones you are often so sentimental about - can be used to dress baby dolls and teddies when your children are old enough to play this sort of game. It also helps your child to understand how tiny they were when they were born.
