Um, why was my Mike Keneally post removed? I had no swearing, no racial slurs, nothing that could be found offensive in any way. I don't understand what the issue here is?

It would be nice if the moderators could tell us exactly why, wouldn't it?
The only thing I can think of is copyright - did you put in a big chunk of lyrics or something? Or maybe there's a URL and they don't want to cut it, they've just hidden it until they can check it out. Or maybe someone, jealous of your fluid and lyrical writing style, has his the Yikes button... it's hard to tell without feedback, but the moderators seem to have trappist leanings sometimes!
The only other possibility I can think of is that something in there fell foul of some automated checking software - they use some on the BBC message boards which seems a bit flaky, and a couple of times it has told me that innocent postings I've made have been "referred to the moderators" for obscure reasons, though they always came back unmolested.
Just post here when it re-emerges and I'll come back for a gander.

PS If nothing happens in a couple of days, you can always try asking at the Moderation section off the "Feedback" button - but remember that Monday's a public holiday in the UK so it might be Tuesday before they come back to you.

See http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F63189?thread=117126 for the answer - it was a link that was broken yesterday, but which is OK today. :-) By the way, the Moderation Help Desk at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Moderation-HelpDesk is the best place to ask questions like this, for future reference. Hope this helps. Mark

OK, it appears to be up now. I just sort of jumped to conclusions and got frustrated because I had spent so much time on the entry only to see it apparently removed. That GuideML stuff really is picky and it had me yanking out my hair.
Key: Complain about this post
