I have a nice plant in my garden- but I dont know what it is. It starts of with big leaves- quite like Dock, then it grows to around 1.5 feet tall with deep purple( not the group) flowers, then after that it has green pods- sort of oval shaped, with bid round seeds, which then changes to amazing paper thin leaves that look like Mother of Pearl. any ideas? cos its driving me nuts- a for the person who comes up with an answer! thanks

That sounds very much like "honesty" to me.
The seeds themselves are actually in between three layers of teh big round pod. After the outer two layers have detached themselves and teh seeds dispersed, you are left with the beautiful thin silver membrane.
