There are a lot of foxes in my area. Many people encourage them by feeding them I am not sure that is a good idea. There will come a time that they become such a nuisance that they will need to be culled. I do not like animals being killed but can understand that should the population of foxes get out of control, and are a constant threat to peoples domestic pets, this will need to be done.

....sadly, the over supply of food in the urban enviroment seems to mean that the weak and sickly foxes are surviving and breeding, thus instead of urban foxes getting better and better due to natural selection, they seem to be doing the opposite, unlike thr sleeker fitter country fox.

We have wheelie bins, a bit difficult for a fox to tip over or get in to.
