A Conversation for Life Beyond the Tube

I grew up without a TV but now I've got one, I watch about three hours a day.
I'm glad I grew up without one... my family was a lot closer than most others I knew (I was one of the few kids in my class who didn't have divorced parents).
Now I need to re-teach myself that TV *is* mostly rubbish...
(the fact that Monty Python is being shown at 2.50am every day at the moment doesn't help)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
