For what it's worth

*Do you like the new exhibit? If so, why? And alternatively - if not, why not?
No. Because...
* Are you, anybody you know, planning to be one of the 2,400 people members of the public involved in the exhibition?
No.
*If you were going to be a part of the exhibit, how would you use your hour?
If I were part of the exhibit I wouldn't turn up as my hour on the plinth. Some conceptual art.
* What do you think the Fourth Plinth should be used for?
Something the large majority of the Birtish people can relate to and would make a smile spread across the faces of everyone who saw it, and commemorate a brilliant childrens programme maker:
A huge copper clanger pointing up at the North Star/Moon to celebrate the life of Oliver Postgate someone who filled the lives of kids and adults with joy with is brilliant animations/stop-motion work with Peter Firmin.
* Do you like the idea of a changing exhibition or do you think it should be something more permanent?
Changing is OK as long as it's not the rubbish they keep putting up.
Do you think the other statues in Trafalgar Square should be changed?
No, they are part of the history of the UK. If you want to put a statue of someone up there are plenty of other places they can go.

Oh, the Clanger wouldn't be a permanent exhibit just one of the rotating nones. The statue could then be moved to a more permanent place. The Greenwich Observatory would be perfect!

Good stuff 3Dots.
Maybe Tony Hart and Johnny Morris too? Be nice to have a place in London where the folk who made our childhood special are celebrated.
