You have a remarkable eye for proportion. Birds are notoriously difficult to sketch - I guess because there are so many different types and we learn to identify them by small differences in shape and size. This is a fine picture - many thanks for sharing it with us here

Hi Icy North! I've been an avid bird-watcher since 1985 and I've done lots of sketches of birds, so I have had much practice.
King Bomba, thanks for that comment ... the main 'message' of my art is plain and simple namely that we live in a magical world of amazing beauty and wonder!
