No, it just needs a button for each item to be voted for and a message can be sent to one forum which shows which button was pressed.

OR

it can go to a forum for each vote - as you have so many choices - I would thingk this would be one large headache make up all the different forums but at least the forum would keep count for you by the post number.

I would go for all votes going to the same forum and count em up yourself.
It would mean a cut and paste job for each button just changing the thing they voted for. this would just leave you to count em up as you go.

If, I have time over the weekend - I will make up a test page for you to try out using tables.

Then you would get a better idea of what I mean.

Oh I see what you mean.

I thought of that and would advise you to tell people they they can only vote once - if they vote more than that, then all their votes will be discounted (or tonly their first vote will count.

I was going to go through a second round of voting, where only those names that got a vote in the previous round would be included. This would cut down the work load.

Also means that people have to choose from the set list and can't suggest any more new names (what hs been a real pain in the (_|_) ).

Yes - you can say nominations have now closed and the voting now begins in earnest - but Earny doesnt know yet then go on to ask them to click a button and only make comments in the box supplied.

if you want a comments box that is.
